Wedding Pricing

(Updated March 2026)
​Wedding hire charges allow the hirer 48 hours access to the hall for setting up, decorating, clearing up etc. (ie, for a Saturday wedding the hirer would have access to the hall from 12 noon on Friday – 12 noon on Sunday
(although extensions to this can be discussed but will incur an extra charge)


Local Weddings – £800

Non-Local Weddings –  £1500

The Lochranza Hall facilities are available for hire (see plan for layout).  If you would like to make a booking please read the information below.  Additionally, carefully review and acknowledge the Conditions of Hire and Alcohol Policy

You must also complete and return the Booking Form/Hire Agreement and sign that you have read and agree to abide by the Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall’s Condition of Hire and the Alcohol Policy Form.   These forms can be downloaded, reviewed, signed and returned using email lochranzacatacol@gmail.com

Stewards – When hire is for the purpose of a dance/disco/live music performance, the responsibility lies with the hirer to ensure that the event is properly stewarded.  If the hirer is under 21 there must be at least 1 adult steward per 15 paying customers.  If the hirer is over 21 this ratio must be at least 1:25.
Insurance – On commencement of hire, the hirer will be solely responsible for Public Liability Insurance and as such is strongly recommended to take out insurance with a minimum indemnity limit of £1M (one million pounds sterling).  The insurance must extend to indemnify the insured for damage to leased, rented or hired premises up to the policy indemnity limit.
